Covidien has won Canadian approval for its imaging agent Cardiolite for diagnosing heart disease. The Bristol-Myers Squibb generic drug is used in diagnostic stress tests of the heart. As a result of the approval by Canadian authorities, Covidien said it expects its test to be available in the country as early as this summer. (Click here for more)
