Siemens Healthcare has a new CEO of U.S. operations, Michael Reitermann. Reitermann replaces Heinrich Kolem, who becomes the Germany-based head of Siemens’ angiography, fluoroscopy and X-ray unit. Reitermann’s new domain includes Siemens’ medical imaging, therapy and health-care information technology sectors in the United States. He had been CEO of Siemens Molecular Imaging that was created with the 2005 acquisition of CTI Molecular Imaging. The Siemens Medical Solutions division already had said it would invest $60 million to expand its U.S. operations. (Click here for more)
