Becton Dickinson plans to take advantage of the state’s $600,000 incentive offer and build a new distribution center in North Carolina. The project is expected to create 190 jobs by 2015, according to the governor. The East Coast distribution facility is expected to begin operation in 2012, near where BD has had large-scale operations for more than 40 years that currently employ 700 workers.
