Integra LifeSciences Holdings has purchased most of the assets of Innovative Spinal Technologies for $9.3 million bankruptcy auction. With the purchase, Integra gets Innovative’s Paramount MIS/Open lumbar fusion system designed to fuse vertebrae in the lower spine with small surgical incisions. The company closed in January and filed for bankruptcy protection in May. Integra said it plans to bring the Paramount system to the market early next year, citing a market value of about $678 million. (Click here for more)
